I was going to write this post earlier, but guess who fell asleep in front of the computer screen? Further proof that today's workout totally kicked my butt... I could barely keep up around the end. There were no water breaks! I pushed as hard as I could, but still had to rest at the end of almost each section. The water helped, but not much. This one is a pretty tough workout. I do know that it's okay to take breaks, and no one can really last the entire thing without resting unless they're super fit; even Shaun T doesn't do the whole thing himself, and the others on screen all have to take a rest or two in between.
I read about a phenomenon called the 'dreaded third week'. Apparently that's when many people quit, because they're tired because of not getting enough sleep, bored of the routines, and lazy because they don't see results. I really hope I can power through that and get in awesome shape. I read somewhere else that most women see results in either recovery week or after. Month two will definitely show some kick ass results.
I found my charger, so tomorrow I'll be taking pictures for sure!
aww thankyou so much for your comment, it really made my day! :) I'm so glad that I've inspired you in this way. I hope you keep up the great work with achieving your dream body.
ReplyDeleteI've a few friends who do the Insanity workout as a group thing, and everyone says it is tough! From the one day I tried it with them, and from what I've heard, there are a lot of squats involved! Keep it up and I'm sure you'll be seeing amazing, toned thighs and a firm butt by the end of it.
And haha power through the third week! If you can get yourself through it, you should feel EXTRA proud because you got past something you know a lot of people have quit at.
I hope you keep posting! Progress pictures can be a great source of motivation :) you can do it :D
